  • Lacks an opportunity to network.
  • Some schools are very highly competitive unless you have a stellar profile. It is not easy to make it to any of the Ivy league or top 20 for that matter.

Work Experience is also valued as the learning from your job differentiates you from others. Further, it adds value to your profile and gives you good pointers for your essays.
